Role Description The Purchasing Manager will oversee end-to-end procurement activities, including sourcing, vendor selection, negotiation, and contract management for raw materials, packaging, and services. This full-time role involves maintaining optimal inventory levels, coordinating with production and quality teams, and monitoring supplier performance to ensure timely deliveries and compliance with quality standards.

The Purchasing

Manager will analyze market trends, evaluate cost-saving opportunities, and implement procurement best practices and policies.



The position is on-site at the Ahmedabad location and requires regular collaboration with cross-functional teams, preparation of purchasing reports, and adherence to company procedures and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

- Solid skills in procurement, vendor management, and negotiation, with experience in managing multiple suppliers and contracts.
- Ability to analyze market trends, pricing, and cost structures, using data-driven decision-making and basic financial analysis.
- Competence in inventory management and materials planning, ensuring alignment between purchasing, production, and logistics.
- Proficiency with ERP or purchasing software, MS Excel, and general office applications to manage orders, records, and reports.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills across internal teams and external partners.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and a focus on process compliance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Food Technology, or a related field; relevant certifications in procurement or supply chain are an advantage.
- Prior experience in purchasing or supply chain within the food, ingredients, or manufacturing sector is highly beneficial.
