Role & responsibilities The Stores and Purchase Manager will be responsible for managing the complete procurement and stores function, including purchase planning, vendor development, commercial negotiations, purchase order management, material receipt, inventory control and material issuance.
Preferred candidate profile The ideal candidate is a hands-on skilled who is equally comfortable negotiating with vendors, reviewing stock reports, resolving material shortages and physically verifying stores operations. The person should be capable of bringing discipline and visibility to procurement and inventory without creating unnecessarily complex processes. The role requires someone who plans ahead, follows through consistently and understands that material availability directly affects production, customer commitments and project profitability.
