Job Summary

Vadan Interiors Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced and result-oriented Purchase Manager to manage end-to-end procurement for our interior fit-out projects. The candidate will be responsible for sourcing materials, negotiating competitive prices, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring timely delivery of quality materials to project sites.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end purchasing of materials required for interior fit-out projects.
- Coordinate with project managers and site teams to understand material requirements and delivery schedules.
- Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable suppliers and vendors.
- Obtain and compare quotations to ensure competitive pricing and cost savings.
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery timelines, and other commercial conditions with suppliers.
- Prepare and process purchase orders and maintain proper procurement records.
- Ensure materials are delivered to the respective sites on time and as per approved specifications.
- Follow up with suppliers regarding order status, pending materials, and delivery commitments.
- Monitor material costs, maintain purchase reports, and ensure purchases remain within project budgets.
- Resolve issues related to material quality, shortages, delays, and incorrect deliveries.




- Maintain strong vendor relationships and ensure compliance with company procurement procedures.

Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

Required Skills
- Solid negotiation, vendor management, and communication skills.
- Good knowledge of interior fit-out materials, including civil, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, flooring, ceiling, and finishing materials.
- Ability to analyse quotations, compare prices, and identify cost-effective purchasing options.
- Good coordination and follow-up skills to ensure timely material availability at sites.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office.
- Experience with ERP or purchase management software will be an added advantage.
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Experience & Other Requirements
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in purchase and procurement, preferably in an interior fit-out or construction company.
- Practical knowledge of material specifications, market rates, and supplier networks.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple site requirements.
- A proactive, responsible, and cost-conscious approach to procurement.
