Purchase Executive – Interior / Civil Projects

Location: Vadodara, Gujarat

Experience: 2–3 Years

Qualification: Any Graduate

Salary: ₹20,000–₹30,000 per month

Industry: Interior Designing, Civil Construction, and Project Execution

- Handle procurement of materials required for interior and civil projects.
- Purchase materials such as plywood, laminates, hardware, glass, aluminium, tiles, sanitaryware, electrical items, paints, cement, steel, and other construction materials as applicable.
- Identify, evaluate, and develop vendors and suppliers for competitive pricing and quality.
- Obtain quotations, compare rates, negotiate prices, and prepare purchase orders.
- Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, contractors, and vendors to understand material requirements.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials at project sites as per work schedules.
- Follow up on pending orders, material shortages, and delivery commitments.
- Verify material specifications, quantities, quality, and invoices.
- Maintain purchase records, supplier databases,



quotations, and order tracking reports.
- Control procurement costs and support cost-effective project execution.

Candidate Requirements
- Any graduate with 2–3 years of experience in purchase or procurement.
- Experience in an interior design, civil construction, contracting, or project-based company will be preferred.
- Knowledge of interior finishing materials, construction materials, and hardware will be an advantage.
- Valuable negotiation, vendor management, and coordination skills.
- Working knowledge of MS Excel and purchase documentation.
- Ability to coordinate with multiple project sites and manage urgent material requirements.
