Project Engineer to plan, coordinate and execute HVAC projects at site, from material delivery to installation, testing, commissioning and handover. The role calls for a hands-on engineer who can read drawings, supervise contractors and manage site progress while keeping to the agreed schedule, quality standards and safety norms, and who works closely with the Project Manager, design, procurement, stores and the client's site team.

Responsibilities

Project Execution: Execute assigned HVAC projects (chilled water, VRF/VRV, ducting, ventilation and package systems) as per approved drawings, specifications and project schedule.

Drawings & Technical Review: Study GFC/shop drawings, BOQs and specifications; coordinate with the design team and raise RFIs and clarifications where needed.

Site Supervision: Supervise installation by contractors and site teams for ducting, piping, insulation, equipment placement, electrical and control wiring; ensure workmanship and quality.

Planning & Progress Tracking: Prepare weekly and monthly work plans, track manpower and material requirements, and report progress, delays and risks to the Project Manager.

Material Management: Raise material requisitions, check deliveries against orders, maintain site stock records and coordinate with stores, procurement and logistics for timely supply.

Measurement & Billing: Take site measurements, prepare quantity sheets, certify contractor work and support client RA billing and reconciliation.

Testing & Commissioning:



Assist with pressure testing, flushing, air and water balancing, TAB and commissioning; prepare punch lists and close them on time.

Coordination: Coordinate with other trades (civil, electrical, plumbing, fire, BMS), consultants and client representatives to resolve clashes and site issues.

Documentation: Maintain daily progress reports, site instructions, as-built drawings, inspection and test records, and handover documents.

Safety & Compliance: Ensure adherence to site safety, PPE, permit-to-work and company quality procedures at all times.

Customer Handling: Be the point of contact for the client's site team and ensure customer satisfaction through timely, quality delivery

Skills

Sound knowledge of HVAC systems, equipment and installation practices (chillers, AHUs, FCUs, VRF/VRV, ducting, piping and insulation)

Ability to read and interpret HVAC, electrical and MEP coordination drawings

Knowledge of electrical power and control wiring for HVAC equipment and basic controls

Working knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Positive site planning, measurement and quantity estimation skills

Strong communication, coordination and people management skills at site level

Problem-solving ability, ownership and a result-oriented approach

Willingness to work at project sites and with contractors and labour teams

Preferred Qualification & Experience

Diploma / Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

1 to 3 years of relevant experience in HVAC project execution / site engineering

Prior experience with a HVAC manufacturer, contractor or MEP firm is preferred

Exposure to commercial, hospitality, healthcare, banking or IT projects is an advantage

Language Skills

English, Hindi & Local/Regional Language(Marathi)

Travel Requirements: As per company requirements

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
