An architecture and interior design practice in BKC, Mumbai- working across India and the UK is seeking an Architect with 3 to 6 years of post-qualification experience. The role is suited to someone who can independently manage projects, maintain client relationships and coordinate consultants through project delivery.

You will take responsibility for projects from the initial brief through design development and technical delivery, balancing design quality, project programmes, client expectations and coordination with the wider team. The role involves regular collaboration with a London-based team and direct communication with clients.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage assigned projects from initial briefing through design development, technical documentation and delivery.
- Coordinate project scope, programmes, deliverables and client expectations.
- Act as the day-to-day client contact and lead project meetings.
- Coordinate consultants, contractors and suppliers to maintain consistency across project information and delivery.
- Identify coordination issues and project risks, resolve them where possible, and escalate decisions when required.
- Consider programme, project profitability and client value when making project decisions.
- Prepare and review architectural drawings, technical documentation and design presentations to maintain quality standards.
- Follow established drawing standards, studio templates and documentation processes.
- Communicate project progress,



potential delays and workload concerns proactively to the relevant stakeholders.
- Guide and review the work of junior team members and support their technical development.
- Identify opportunities to improve project workflows, documentation standards and studio processes.
- Contribute to business development, marketing or recruitment activities where appropriate.

Requirements

- Minimum 3 years of post-qualification professional experience.
- B.Arch
- Demonstrated experience independently managing at least one project from start to finish, including direct client contact.
- Experience in relevant project types, including commercial and residential projects, hospitality, retail and interior fit-outs.
- Ability to lead client meetings and manage client relationships.
- Experience coordinating consultants and contractors through project delivery.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp and InDesign, with robust drawing, modelling and presentation skills.
- Fluent written and spoken English, including the ability to communicate directly with UK-based clients.
- Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgement, solve problems and communicate project risks early.
