ANRF Convergence Research Centre of Excellence for MSMEs

Applications are invited from eligible and motivated candidates for the following project positions under an Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF)-funded research initiative.

Project Title: Developing a Techno-Managerial Framework to Accelerate MSMEs' Transition from Conventional to Contemporary Technologies through Academia–Industry Partnerships towards a Resilient, Sustainable and Smart Innovation Ecosystem.

Positions, Qualifications and Fellowship

Position: Project Assistant, No. of Positions: 2, Duration: Up to 5 years or project completion, whichever is earlie, Essential Qualification: B.E./B.Tech. in any discipline or M.Sc. in Computer Science or a relevant Computer Science domain / Physics, Fellowship per Month: ₹27,000 + applicable HRA*

Position: Technical Assistant, No. of Positions: 2, Duration: Up to 5 years or project completion, whichever is earlie, Essential Qualification: B.E./B.Tech. in any discipline, MCA, or M.Sc. in a relevant Computer Science domain, with relevant experience, Fellowship per Month: ₹27,000 + applicable HRA*

Position: Field Assistant, No. of Positions: 2, Duration: Up to 3 years or project completion, whichever is earlie, Essential Qualification: B.E./B.Tech. in any discipline, MBA, M.Com., or any postgraduate degree, Fellowship per Month: ₹24,000 + applicable HRA*

The fellowship and HRA, wherever admissible, shall be governed by the applicable ANRF guidelines, approved project budget and sanction conditions.

Common Eligibility Requirements

- A minimum of 60% marks in the qualifying degree and a good academic record.




- Good written and spoken English communication skills are mandatory.

- Relevant academic background and the ability to contribute effectively to project activities.

Desirable Attributes

- Interest in understanding and implementing contemporary technological solutions for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Research exposure or relevant practical experience in technology, management, industry engagement or related areas.
- Willingness to undertake field visits and interact with MSMEs, industry partners and academic stakeholders, as required by the project.

Nature of Work Selected candidates will contribute to the implementation of the approved project, according to the responsibilities assigned to their respective positions. Activities may include research and documentation, technical support, data collection and analysis, field visits to MSMEs, industry interaction and coordination with academic and industry partners.

Travel expenses or allowances for approved project-related visits to MSMEs will be governed by the sanctioned project provisions and applicable institutional procedures.

Tenure and Continuation

Appointments will be purely on a project basis and will remain subject to the approved project tenure, availability of project funds,



satisfactory performance and applicable ANRF conditions. Performance will be reviewed periodically. The appointment will not confer any automatic right to permanent employment or absorption into the institution.

Selection Process

· Applications will be scrutinised against the prescribed eligibility criteria. Shortlisted candidates will be informed of the interview schedule and further selection procedures.

· No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
