Location: Pirangut, Pune, Maharashtra

1. Job Purpose To supervise daily production activities, ensure achievement of production targets, maintain product quality, manage manpower, and ensure compliance with safety standards and production schedules.

2. Key Responsibilities

· Supervise day-to-day mechanical production and fabrication activities.

· Plan and execute production schedules as per customer requirements and delivery timelines.

· Allocate jobs to operators, welders, fabricators, fitters, and helpers.

· Monitor production output, productivity, and manpower utilization.

· Ensure that production work is carried out as per engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions.

· Coordinate with the Quality, Design, Planning, Stores, and Maintenance departments.

· Monitor the availability of raw materials, tools, fixtures, and consumables required for production.

· Ensure proper utilization of machines, equipment, and manpower.

· Identify production delays, bottlenecks, and quality issues, and take corrective action.

· Maintain daily production reports, rejection reports, downtime records, and manpower attendance.

· Ensure compliance with workplace safety procedures, 5S, and housekeeping standards.

· Minimize material wastage, rework, rejection, and machine downtime.

· Conduct toolbox talks and guide workers on safe working practices.

· Report daily production status and pending jobs to the Production Manager.

· Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity and operational efficiency.

3. Educational Qualification





· Diploma or ITI in Mechanical Engineering / Mechanical Trade.

· Diploma in Mechanical Engineering will be preferred.

4. Experience

Fresher to 1years of experience in mechanical production, fabrication, or a related manufacturing industry.

Experience in handling shop-floor manpower and production activities is preferred.

5. Technical Skills

· Knowledge of mechanical fabrication and manufacturing processes.

· Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

· Knowledge of measuring instruments and basic inspection methods.

· Understanding of production planning, quality control, and shop-floor management.

· Basic knowledge of MS Excel and production reporting.

· Knowledge of 5S, Kaizen, and workplace safety practices.

· Improvement in productivity and shop-floor efficiency.

8. Working Conditions

· Work location: Manufacturing plant / shop floor.

· Working hours and weekly offs as per company policy.

· Must be comfortable working in a manufacturing workplace and supervising shop-floor activities

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
