Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Production Merchandiser to coordinate with the design, production, sampling, and vendor teams to ensure the smooth execution of orders. The candidate will be responsible for monitoring production timelines, tracking order status, coordinating material requirements, and ensuring timely delivery while maintaining the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate with design, sampling, production, and vendor teams for smooth execution of orders.
- Monitor the complete production process, from sample development to final dispatch.
- Follow up on raw materials, fabrics, trims, accessories, and other production requirements.
- Prepare and maintain production schedules, order trackers, and delivery timelines.
- Ensure orders are completed and delivered within the committed deadlines.
- Regularly follow up with vendors and production units regarding order progress and pending tasks.
- Coordinate sample development, approvals, alterations, and production readiness.
- Monitor production quality and coordinate with the quality team to resolve issues.
- Identify production delays or bottlenecks and take timely action to resolve them.
- Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, production status, material consumption, and dispatch details.
- Coordinate with the design team to ensure product specifications, measurements, and technical details are followed correctly.




- Provide regular updates to management regarding order status, delays, and delivery commitments.
- Ensure proper communication between all teams involved in the production process.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Fashion Design, Fashion Merchandising, Textile Technology, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in production merchandising, preferably in the fashion, apparel, or luxury clothing industry.
- Strong knowledge of garment production processes, sampling, fabrics, trims, and finishing.
- Good coordination, communication, and follow-up skills.
- Ability to manage multiple orders and meet strict deadlines.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and production tracking tools.
- Ability to work effectively with vendors, production units, and internal teams.

Preferred Candidate Profile
- Experience in designer wear, couture, ethnic wear, or premium fashion brands will be an advantage.
- Proactive, responsible, and solution-oriented approach.
- Ability to work in a quick-paced production environment.
- Strong commitment to quality, timelines, and operational efficiency.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
