Role Description The Production Manager is responsible for overseeing day-to-day manufacturing operations, ensuring that production targets, quality standards, and safety requirements are consistently met. This full-time, on-site role, based in the Pune Division, includes managing production schedules, supervising shop-floor teams, coordinating with maintenance and quality departments, and optimizing the use of machinery, materials, and labor.
The Production
Manager monitors process parameters, implements continuous improvement initiatives, and addresses operational issues to minimize downtime and waste. The role also involves enforcing safety protocols, maintaining compliance with regulatory and company standards, preparing production reports, and supporting cross-functional collaboration with supply chain, planning, and R&D; teams.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise overall production activities.
- Plan and achieve daily, weekly and monthly production targets.
- Handle polymer compounding and masterbatch manufacturing processes.
- Monitor Twin Screw Extruder, mixing, feeding and pelletizing operations.
- Ensure product quality, production efficiency and minimum material wastage.
- Manage production manpower, shift planning and work allocation.
- Troubleshoot production-related issues and coordinate with the maintenance and quality teams.
- Maintain production reports, raw material consumption records and machine performance data.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, SOPs and quality requirements.
Candidate Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Polymer, Plastic Compounding or Masterbatch manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of extrusion processes and production operations.
- Experience in production planning, manpower management and process troubleshooting.
- Good leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work as per production requirements.
