Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Production Manager to oversee daily manufacturing operations, manage production teams, and ensure the timely production of high-quality machine structures, fabricated components, and machined parts. The candidate should have strong knowledge of fabrication, welding, machining, fitting, assembly, manpower management, and production planning.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan, schedule, and monitor daily production activities to meet delivery targets.
- Supervise manufacturing operations involving machine structures, fabricated components, machined parts, welding, fitting, and assembly.
- Manage and coordinate production teams, including welders, fabricators, machinists, fitters, and helpers.
- Allocate manpower, machines, materials, and other resources efficiently.
- Monitor production progress and ensure timely completion of customer orders.
- Coordinate with Design, Quality Control, Stores, Purchase, and Maintenance departments.
- Ensure product quality and minimize rejection, rework, material wastage, and production delays.
- Monitor machine utilization, workforce productivity, and overall production performance.
- Identify production bottlenecks and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety standards, housekeeping, and company procedures.




- Maintain production reports, daily output records, manpower details, and other manufacturing documentation.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity, quality, and cost efficiency.

Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 6–12 years of relevant experience in production management within machine manufacturing, fabrication, or engineering industries.
- Strong knowledge of fabrication, welding, machining, fitting, and mechanical assembly processes.
- Experience managing shop-floor operations and production manpower.
- Positive planning, problem-solving, leadership, and coordination skills.
- Ability to meet production schedules while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Preferred Skills
- Practical knowledge of manufacturing drawings and BOMs.
- Experience handling fabricated and machined components used in machine manufacturing.
- Strong team management and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to monitor production targets, productivity, rejection rates, and delivery schedules.
- Good communication and reporting skills.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Achievement of daily and monthly production targets.
- On-time completion and delivery of production orders.
- Reduction in rejection, rework, and material wastage.
- Improvement in manpower productivity and machine utilization.
- Compliance with quality standards and workplace safety requirements.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
