About us: Established in 1978. We make machined castings and forgings, rubber and rubber-to-metal parts, and fabricated components for Suzlon, Vestas and Gamesa/SGRE. Our range covers more than 1,100 items, including brake discs, main shafts and flexible coupling elements.

Role: Run the shop floor so that wind turbine parts are made to drawing, on time and at the right cost.

Key responsibilities

- Plan daily and weekly production for CNC and conventional machining, fabrication and rubber moulding
- Take large castings and forgings from drawing to finished part; oversee rubber and rubber-to-metal moulding
- Release jobs on the correct drawing revision; support first-article inspection
- Work with Quality on rejections, root cause analysis and corrective action
- Keep ISO 9001 records,



material certificates and traceability complete
- Reduce scrap, rework and downtime; maintain 5S and protected handling of heavy parts

Required skills

- Hands-on machining, fabrication or moulding experience
- Drawing reading, GD&T;, and use of vernier, micrometer and bore gauge
- Process planning and work order control

Preferred skills and profile

- Wind turbine or heavy engineering experience (shafts, brake discs, couplings, bedplates)
- Rubber moulding knowledge: EPDM, NBR, natural rubber, bonding to metal
- Welding and fabrication knowledge; lean, 5S, OEE or TPM exposure
- Someone who has reduced scrap or fixed a process problem, with numbers to show
