Job Summary

Genuine Biosystem Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced and results-driven Product Manager to manage and develop its IVD reagent and diagnostic instrument portfolio. The ideal candidate will combine strong product knowledge, market intelligence, commercial acumen, and cross-functional coordination to drive product positioning, market penetration, revenue growth, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

1. Product Strategy & Lifecycle Management

- Develop and execute product strategies for IVD reagents, diagnostic kits, and instruments.
- Manage the complete product lifecycle, from product launch and market introduction to portfolio optimization.
- Define product positioning, value propositions, pricing inputs, and competitive differentiation.
- Identify opportunities for current products, product enhancements, and portfolio expansion.

2. Market Research & Competitive Intelligence

- Analyze market trends, customer needs, competitor products, pricing, and market opportunities.
- Gather feedback from distributors, diagnostic laboratories, hospitals, and field sales teams.
- Identify emerging technologies and business opportunities within the IVD industry.
- Prepare market intelligence reports and recommend appropriate business strategies.

3. Sales & Business Development Support





- Work closely with the sales and application support teams to achieve product-wise revenue and growth targets.
- Develop product presentations, brochures, technical sales materials, and product comparison documents.
- Support product demonstrations, customer meetings, distributor training, and key-account development.
- Assist in preparing sales forecasts, product budgets, and marketing plans.

4. Product Launches & Marketing

- Plan and execute product launches, promotional campaigns, and product awareness initiatives.
- Develop product-specific marketing strategies and sales enablement materials.
- Coordinate exhibitions, conferences, seminars, workshops, and customer engagement activities.
- Monitor product performance and recommend corrective or improvement actions.

5. Technical & Cross-Functional Coordination

- Coordinate with R&D;, Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, Production, and Service teams.
- Ensure product information, claims, and promotional materials are aligned with approved product specifications and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Support the resolution of product-related customer queries and recurring field issues.
- Coordinate product training for sales, application, and service personnel.

6. Performance Monitoring & Reporting

- Monitor product-wise sales, profitability, market share, inventory movement, and forecast accuracy.




- Prepare periodic product performance reports and management presentations.
- Track key performance indicators and recommend actions to improve commercial performance.
- Provide regular updates to management on product growth, market opportunities, and business risks.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Life Sciences, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Chemistry, Biomedical Science, or a related field.
- An MBA in Marketing or Product Management will be an added advantage.

Required Experience & Skills
- 58 years of relevant experience in the IVD, diagnostic reagents, medical diagnostics, or diagnostic instrument industry.
- Strong understanding of IVD reagents, diagnostic kits, and laboratory instruments.
- Experience in product management, product marketing, technical marketing, or sales and application support.
- Strong market analysis, product positioning, communication, presentation, and analytical skills.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with sales, technical, R&D;, QA/RA, and service teams.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Excel-based reporting, and presentation tools.
- Willingness to travel for customer meetings, distributor engagement, training, and market development as required.
