? We’re Hiring | Product Development (PD) Supervisor – Jewellery

We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Product Development (PD) Supervisor to join our team at Silver Unit in Coimbatore.

? Position Details

- Position: Product Development (PD) Supervisor
- Department: Product Development
- Experience: 3–6 Years
- Salary: ₹35,000–₹40,000 per month (CTC)
- Location: Coimbatore

? Key Responsibilities

- Supervise the end-to-end jewellery PD process: Wax → Casting → Filing → Polishing/Buffing → Stone Setting → Finishing → Final Sample.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including Wax, Casting, Setting, Polishing, Production, and QC/QA.
- Track sample progress and ensure timely completion as per targets.
- Ensure design accuracy, weight control, quality, finishing, and manufacturability.
- Identify production challenges and coordinate with relevant teams for quick resolution.
- Monitor daily work, pending samples, and team productivity.
- Minimise rework, rejection, and unnecessary production costs.




- Ensure efficient utilisation of manpower, materials, tools, and resources.
- Maintain sample status and coordinate BOM finalisation, photography, and other PD requirements.

? Required Skills & Expertise

- Strong understanding of jewellery manufacturing and product development processes.
- Knowledge of wax setting, casting, filing, polishing, buffing, and stone setting.
- Ability to interpret CAD designs and technical specifications.
- Knowledge of jewellery finishing, quality standards, and weight control.
- Basic understanding of costing, Excel, and reporting.
- Strong team supervision, coordination, follow-up, and problem-solving skills.
