About Perch

Perch is a growing lifestyle and housewares brand offering innovative, functional, and aesthetically appealing products across categories such as insulated bottles, tumblers, barware, glassware, kitchenware, and lifestyle accessories.

We are looking for a creative and execution-oriented Product Designer & Development Executive who can take product ideas from concept to production-ready samples, working closely with our design, sourcing, purchase, and factory production teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Product Design & Innovation – Delhi Office

Work closely with the management and product development team to conceptualize and design new products.

Develop product designs, sketches, 3D models, technical drawings, and specifications.

Research market trends, competitor products, materials, finishes, and innovative product features.

Improve existing products in terms of functionality, aesthetics, usability, and manufacturing feasibility.

Coordinate with internal teams to finalize product dimensions, materials, colours, finishes, and accessories.

- Sampling & Product Development – Kundli Factory

Convert approved product designs into physical prototypes and counter samples.

Work directly with factory teams, technicians, vendors, and production personnel to ensure accurate sample development.

Verify that samples match approved designs, specifications,



quality standards, and functional requirements.

Identify design or manufacturing issues and coordinate necessary corrections.

Ensure final approved counter samples are properly documented, labelled, and available as references for the purchase and production teams.

- Production Readiness & Coordination

Coordinate with the purchase team to ensure required materials, components, accessories, and finishes are correctly identified and sourced.

Provide the production team with approved counter samples, technical drawings, specifications, and other required details.

Ensure that product designs are practical for bulk manufacturing and commercially viable.

Support trial production and resolve design-related challenges before mass production.

Maintain clear records of approved samples, design revisions, product specifications, and development status.

- Project Management & Timely Execution

Manage multiple product development projects simultaneously.

Track timelines from initial concept to final sample approval and production handover.

Follow up with internal teams and vendors to avoid sampling and production delays.

Ensure that new products are developed according to agreed timelines and launch plans.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Product Design, Industrial Design, Mechanical Design,



or a related field.

3–6 years of experience in product design and physical product development, preferably in consumer products, housewares, kitchenware, bottles, or lifestyle accessories.

Proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Fusion 360, Rhino, or similar 2D/3D design software.

Strong understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, product construction, and tooling.

Practical experience in prototyping, sampling, product modifications, and factory coordination.

Ability to translate creative ideas into technically feasible and production-ready products.

Strong communication, problem-solving, and cross-functional coordination skills.

- Willingness to work regularly from both Delhi and Kundli locations.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

- Timely development of recent product designs and approved samples.
- Accuracy of counter samples against approved specifications.
- Reduction in sampling errors, revisions, and development delays.
- Timely handover of production-ready products to purchase and production teams.
- Successful execution of product development plans from concept to manufacturing.

Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who is both creative and technically hands-on.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable designing products at the Delhi office and equally comfortable working on the factory floor in Kundli to ensure those designs are accurately developed.

This is not a purely desk-based design role. The candidate must take ownership of the complete product development cycle, from initial idea and design to approved counter sample and successful production handover.
