Role & responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end procurement of sheet metal, fabricated components, copper/aluminium bus bars, hardware, insulation, and packaging materials.

- Develop and execute sourcing strategies, supplier selection, qualification, negotiations, and contract management.

- Drive clean-sheet/should-cost analysis, BOM-level costing, cost reduction, and value engineering.

- Evaluate sheet metal manufacturing processes, including laser cutting, CNC punching/bending, welding, tooling, and powder coating.

- Lead supplier development, localization, alternate sourcing, and risk mitigation initiatives.

- Ensure uninterrupted plant material supply, supplier quality, inventory efficiency, and on-time delivery.

- Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams to improve cost, quality, and productivity.





Preferred candidate profile

- 1220 years of experience in strategic sourcing/procurement within Busway, switchgear, electrical equipment, panel building, or sheet metal fabrication.

- Solid hands-on expertise in sheet metal costing, clean-sheet costing, cost breakdowns, tooling, and fabrication processes.

- Experience in procurement of fabricated parts and copper/aluminium bus-bar or conductor materials.

- Prior experience managing end-to-end plant procurement, supplier development, and supply continuity.

- Proven track record in cost optimization, localization, supplier negotiations, and cross-functional leadership.
