Role & responsibilities

- Manage procurement of sheet metal, fabricated parts, copper/aluminium bus bars, hardware, insulation, and packaging materials.

- Drive strategic sourcing, supplier selection, development, qualification, negotiations, and contract management.

- Perform clean-sheet/should-cost analysis, BOM-level costing, and cost reduction initiatives.

- Evaluate sheet metal processes, including laser cutting, CNC punching/bending, welding, tooling, and powder coating.

- Lead supplier localization, alternate sourcing, value engineering, and procurement risk mitigation.

- Ensure uninterrupted material supply, supplier quality, inventory efficiency, and on-time delivery.

- Coordinate with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams to improve cost, quality, and productivity.

Preferred candidate profile





- 1015 years of strategic sourcing/procurement experience in Busway, switchgear, panel building, electrical equipment, or sheet metal fabrication.

- Robust hands-on expertise in sheet metal costing, clean-sheet costing, BOM cost breakdowns, tooling, and fabrication processes.

- Knowledge of fabricated components and copper/aluminium bus-bar or conductor materials.

- Experience in end-to-end plant procurement, supplier management, and supply continuity.

- Proven experience in cost optimization, supplier localization, commercial negotiations, and cross-functional coordination.
