Key Responsibilities

- Identify, evaluate and develop reliable suppliers for fabrics, accessories, packaging materials and other production requirements.
- Source materials at competitive prices while maintaining quality standards.
- Negotiate with vendors on pricing, payment terms, lead times and delivery schedules.
- Prepare and manage purchase orders (POs) and ensure timely procurement of materials.
- Coordinate with production, design and inventory teams to understand material requirements.
- Monitor stock levels and plan purchases to avoid shortages or excess inventory.
- Track pending orders, follow up with suppliers and ensure on-time deliveries.
- Verify received materials against purchase orders and coordinate quality checks.
- Maintain accurate procurement records, vendor databases, invoices and purchase trackers.
- Resolve supplier-related issues, including quality concerns, shortages and delivery delays.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Commerce, Business Administration or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in procurement,



purchasing or supply chain operations.
- Experience in textile, garment, manufacturing or packaging procurement is preferred.
- Strong vendor sourcing, negotiation and relationship management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel or Google Sheets for purchase tracking and reporting.
- Basic understanding of inventory management, purchase orders and billing processes.
- Positive communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple purchase requirements and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail, cost consciousness and problem-solving skills.
- Fluency in Tamil and English preferred.

Preferred Candidate: A proactive, organised and detail-oriented individual who can independently manage day-to-day procurement, build reliable vendor relationships and ensure uninterrupted material availability for production. Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
