Process Manager (m/f/d) Configuration Management

Your Task

This role focuses on Service Asset and Configuration Management (SACM) with hands-on expertise in Asset Manager Tool, ServiceNow, CMDB, CSDM, and SACM processes. The position requires joining within 30 days.

Responsibilities

- Develop, implement, and maintain best practice standards, policies, and procedures for planning, recording, monitoring, and maintaining hardware and software assets
- Design and implement continuous lifecycle management of configuration items (CIs)
- Ensure SACM processes are fit for purpose, compliant with regulations, and aligned with organizational norms
- Take responsibility for process design, framework creation, and governance
- Define and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure process effectiveness
- Manage new requirements and changes to SACM processes
- Coordinate design work for CI and Asset discovery, integrations, and data import methods
- Collaborate with IT stakeholders and business leaders to improve asset management practices and ensure cost-effectiveness
- Support related IT processes such as Change, Problem, and Release Management
- Monitor, review, and support audits, ensuring compliance with standards
- Provide coaching and guidance to CMDB stakeholders to ensure strong understanding of configuration and asset management, including its link to Change Management and other ITIL processes
- Represent SACM requirements in Demand Boards, prioritizing process-related IT developments
- Evaluate and recommend new tools, technologies, and process improvements to enhance IT efficiency and effectiveness

We are looking for an experienced Asset and Configuration Management Specialist with hands-on expertise in ServiceNow, CMDB, and SACM processes to develop and maintain hardware and software asset management standards and procedures.

Must Have Skills

- Hands-on expertise with Asset Manager Tool
- Experience with ServiceNow
- Knowledge of CMDB (Configuration Management Database)
- Understanding of CSDM (Common Service Data Model)
- Experience with SACM (Service Asset and Configuration Management) processes
- Ability to develop and implement best practice standards, policies, and procedures for asset management
- Experience in designing and implementing lifecycle management of configuration items (CIs)
- Knowledge of process design, framework creation, and governance
- Ability to define and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Experience with CI and Asset discovery, integrations, and data import methods
- Ability to collaborate with IT stakeholders and business leaders
- Knowledge of related IT processes such as Change, Problem, and Release Management
- Experience in monitoring, reviewing, and supporting audits
- Ability to provide coaching and guidance to CMDB stakeholders
- Experience representing requirements in Demand Boards
- Ability to evaluate and recommend new tools, technologies, and process improvements
- Ability to join within 30 days
