Jurisiti Legal LLP, a Delhi-based litigation law firm with a team of 12+ in-house advocates and a wider professional network, is expanding its regional presence and looking to engage an experienced Core Litigation Advocate in Chennai.

We are seeking a capable litigation professional who can independently manage court proceedings, develop effective legal strategies, handle matters end-to-end, and represent the firm's interests in the region within the agreed scope of engagement.

This opportunity is intended for an advocate who combines strong legal fundamentals with courtroom experience, strategic thinking, professional accountability, and the ability to work independently while coordinating with our central team in Delhi.

? POSITION DETAILS? Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu

⚖️ Position: Core Litigation Advocate

? Engagement: Exclusive, long-term professional association

? Remuneration: Monthly remuneration, commensurate with experience and capabilities

? 1. EXPERIENCE & ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONSCandidates must possess:

- Minimum 5–6 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in core litigation.
- LL.B. and LL.M. qualifications from Tier-1 law institutions.
- Substantial practical exposure to court proceedings, legal drafting, filing, legal research, and oral advocacy.
- Strong knowledge of substantive and procedural law, judicial precedents, and litigation practices.

? 2. PRACTICE AREASPractical experience and exposure are expected in:
- Civil Litigation
- Commercial Litigation
- Business and Contractual Disputes
- Consumer Litigation
- Labour and Employment Matters
- Arbitration and Dispute Resolution
- Criminal Litigation

The primary focus will be on Civil and Commercial Litigation. ? 3. INDEPENDENT CASE STRATEGY & COURTROOM ADVOCACYThe ideal candidate should be capable of independently analysing disputes, identifying legal strengths and weaknesses, and developing a practical, well-researched litigation strategy.

Key responsibilities will include





- Conducting comprehensive legal research and analysing relevant judgments and statutory provisions.
- Drafting plaints, petitions, written statements, replies, applications, affidavits, written submissions, and other legal documents.
- Managing filing procedures, hearing preparation, procedural requirements, and court deadlines.
- Presenting effective oral arguments before appropriate courts and tribunals.
- Anticipating opposing arguments and identifying appropriate legal remedies.
- Assessing litigation risks, interim relief options, settlement possibilities, and subsequent legal steps.

We are looking for a professional who can take ownership of matters, exercise independent legal judgment, and pursue the client's legitimate interests through a sound and legally sustainable strategy. ? 4. COURT ORDER COMPLIANCE & MATTER MANAGEMENTThe selected advocate must be capable of independently managing judicial directions and procedural obligations, including:

- Reviewing court orders and identifying necessary action points.
- Monitoring compliance deadlines and ensuring timely filings.
- Preparing and coordinating compliance documents and subsequent applications.
- Tracking hearing dates, orders, case status, and future proceedings.
- Providing timely updates to the central team in Delhi.
- Maintaining organised case records and ensuring continuity in matter management.

EXCLUSIVE ENGAGEMENT & REGIONAL REPRESENTATIONThe selected candidate will be engaged on an exclusive, monthly-remuneration basis, under mutually agreed terms and subject to applicable professional regulations.





The advocate will be expected to manage the firm's assigned matters in Chennai and the surrounding region, represent the firm within the agreed scope, coordinate with the central team in Delhi, and help strengthen our regional litigation practice.

The role requires independent handling of assigned matters, effective communication, timely reporting, professional confidentiality, and a commitment to a long-term association.

? 6. LOCAL LANGUAGE & COURT FAMILIARITYKnowledge of Tamil and English, familiarity with local court procedures, and practical experience before courts and tribunals in Chennai and the surrounding region will be an added advantage.
