Jurisiti Legal LLP is looking to collaborate with an accomplished litigation professional in Mumbai who can independently manage, represent, and expand the firm's litigation practice in the region.

We are a Delhi-based litigation law firm with a team of 12+ in-house advocates and a wider professional network. As part of our planned regional expansion, we are looking for an experienced advocate with strong courtroom skills, independent decision-making capabilities, sound legal judgment, and the ability to take complete ownership of litigation matters.

? POSITION: CORE LITIGATION ADVOCATE? Location: Mumbai, Maharashtra

? Engagement Model: Exclusive, long-term professional engagement

? Remuneration: Monthly remuneration, commensurate with experience and capabilities

? ELIGIBILITY & PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS1. Core Litigation Experience A minimum of 5–6 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in active litigation practice, with substantial courtroom exposure and the ability to independently manage matters from inception through final disposal.

2. Academic Qualifications

- LL.B. and LL.M. degrees from reputed Tier-1 law institutions.
- Strong grounding in substantive law, procedural law, legal research, and judicial precedents.
- The ability to translate complex legal issues into clear, practical, and effective litigation strategies.

3. Practice Areas Practical experience and skilled exposure across the following areas:

- Civil Litigation
- Commercial and Business Disputes
- Consumer Litigation
- Labour and Employment Matters
- Arbitration and Dispute Resolution
- Criminal Litigation

The primary focus will be on civil and commercial litigation, and applicants should have demonstrable experience in handling disputes in these areas. 4. Independent Case Strategy & Courtroom Advocacy

We are looking for a professional who can do more than execute instructions. The ideal candidate should be capable of independently analysing a dispute, identifying its strengths and weaknesses, developing a sound litigation strategy,



and pursuing the most effective legally sustainable course of action.

The role will involve

- Conducting comprehensive legal research and case-law analysis.
- Preparing pleadings, petitions, applications, replies, written submissions, and other legal documents.
- Managing filing procedures, procedural requirements, and court deadlines.
- Developing case-specific strategies based on facts, evidence, applicable law, and judicial precedents.
- Effectively presenting arguments before the appropriate courts and tribunals.
- Anticipating opposing arguments and preparing appropriate legal responses.
- Advising on litigation risks, settlement possibilities, and the most practical course of action.

5. Court Proceedings, Orders & Compliance The selected professional must be capable of independently managing court proceedings and ensuring timely compliance with judicial directions and procedural requirements. This includes tracking orders, monitoring deadlines, coordinating filings, preparing compliance documents, advising on subsequent steps, and ensuring that matters progress systematically without avoidable delays.

6. Exclusive Professional Engagement

This is an opportunity for an advocate seeking a structured, long-term, and exclusive professional association with our firm.

The selected candidate will receive monthly remuneration and will be expected to devote the agreed professional capacity to Jurisiti's assigned matters and regional responsibilities, subject to mutually agreed engagement terms and applicable professional regulations.

7. Regional Representation & Practice Management The selected advocate will serve as the firm's principal litigation professional for Mumbai and the surrounding region within the agreed scope of engagement.

Responsibilities will include





- Representing the firm's clients before the appropriate courts and tribunals within the advocate's authorised practice and agreed jurisdiction.
- Independently managing assigned matters and maintaining consistent communication with the central team in Delhi.
- Coordinating with clients, briefing counsel, court personnel, and other relevant stakeholders, as professionally appropriate.
- Providing timely updates on hearings, orders, developments, risks, and next steps.
- Maintaining proper documentation, matter records, and procedural compliance.
- Helping establish and strengthen the firm's regional litigation capabilities.

8. Language & Local Court Familiarity Familiarity with Marathi and English, knowledge of local court practices, and the ability to communicate effectively with regional stakeholders will be an added advantage.
