Job Summary

We are looking for a PLC & Instrumentation Engineer with 2–3 years of hands-on experience in industrial automation and instrumentation. The candidate should have good working knowledge of Siemens and Schneider PLCsalong with practical experience in installation, calibration, loop checking, testing, and commissioning of field instruments.

Key Responsibilities

- PLC programming, troubleshooting, testing, and commissioning.
- Hands-on knowledge of Siemens PLCs and Schneider Electric PLCs.
- PLC I/O testing, logic testing, fault finding, and troubleshooting.
- Installation, testing, calibration, and commissioning of field instruments.
- Perform loop checking and functional testing of instruments.
- Work with Pressure, Level, Flow, Temperature, Density and other process instruments.
- Installation and commissioning of Radar Level Gauges, Pressure Transmitters, RTDs, Flow Meters, Control Valves, Level Switches, etc.
- Understanding of 4–20 mA, HART, Digital I/O, RTD and Thermocouple signals.
- Read and understand P&IDs;, Instrument Datasheets, Loop Diagrams, Wiring Diagrams and I/O Lists.
- Troubleshoot PLC panels, field instruments, control systems, and communication issues.
- Assist in FAT, SAT, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and site acceptance activities.
- Basic knowledge of HMI/SCADA systems.
- Knowledge of industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, Profibus/Profinet, and Ethernet will be an advantage.




- Prepare commissioning, testing, calibration, and loop-checking reports.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and project teams during installation and commissioning.
- Willingness to travel to customer/project sites for installation and commissioning.

Qualification

Experience 2–3 years of relevant experience in PLC, automation, instrumentation, installation, calibration, testing, and commissioning.

Experience in Oil & Gas, Tank Farm, Chemical, Petrochemical, Manufacturing, or Process Industries will be preferred.

- Strong hands-on technical and troubleshooting skills.
- Willing to work at customer/project sites.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Able to work independently as well as with a project team.
- Willingness to travel as per project requirements.
