About the Role

EDWARTENS is looking for passionate and technically skilled PLC Trainers, Automation Engineers, and Application Engineers to join our Bangalore team.

The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of industrial automation, electrical systems, PLC programming, HMI, and SCADA, along with excellent English communication and presentation skills.

You will be responsible for delivering practical technical training to engineers, developing automation applications, and supporting real-world industrial automation projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver hands-on training in PLC, SCADA, HMI, and industrial automation to engineering students and professionals.
- Develop, program, test, and troubleshoot PLC and HMI applications.
- Provide practical demonstrations using industrial automation hardware and software.
- Support industrial automation projects, application development, and technical troubleshooting.
- Prepare technical training materials, practical exercises, and project assignments.
- Guide engineers through real-world industrial applications and projects.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong understanding of industrial automation, electrical engineering, and control systems .
- Knowledge of PLC programming using Siemens TIA Portal, Allen-Bradley (AB), and Delta PLCs .




- Knowledge of at least one SCADA platform (WinCC, FactoryTalk View, AVEVA/Wonderware, Ignition, or equivalent).
- Understanding of HMI development, electrical wiring, control panels, sensors, drives, and industrial communication protocols.
- Good English communication, technical presentation, and teaching skills.
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly and conduct practical training sessions.
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, Automation, or related engineering disciplines.

Preferred Skills
- Hands-on experience with multiple PLC brands.
- Knowledge of VFDs, servo drives, industrial networking, and troubleshooting.
- Experience in industrial projects, commissioning, application engineering, or technical training.
- Familiarity with PROFINET, Modbus, EtherNet/IP, or OPC UA.
