Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Plant Incharge to manage day-to-day plant operations, production activities, manpower, quality control, and timely delivery of railway electronics and signalling products. The candidate should have experience in manufacturing operations, production planning, and team management.

Key Responsibilities

- Production Management: Plan, monitor, and control daily production activities to achieve production targets and timely delivery.
- Plant Operations: Oversee the overall functioning of the manufacturing plant and ensure smooth workflow.
- Manpower Management: Allocate work to production staff, technicians, and supervisors, and monitor their performance.
- Quality Control: Ensure products meet required quality standards, specifications, and customer requirements.
- Railway Products: Supervise manufacturing and assembly of railway electronics, signalling equipment, and related electrical/electronic products.
- Inventory Management: Coordinate with Purchase and Stores departments to ensure the availability of raw materials and components.
- Maintenance: Ensure proper maintenance of production equipment, tools, and machinery to minimize downtime.
- Documentation: Maintain production reports, material consumption records, rejection reports, and other manufacturing records.
- Safety & Compliance: Ensure adherence to workplace safety procedures and applicable manufacturing standards.




- Coordination: Coordinate with Purchase, Quality, Stores, Design, and Dispatch departments for smooth operations.
- Cost Control: Minimize material wastage, production losses, and unnecessary operational expenses.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve productivity, product quality, and manufacturing efficiency.

Required Qualifications & Skills
- Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3-4 years of experience in manufacturing or plant operations.
- Experience in electronics or electrical equipment manufacturing is preferred.
- Knowledge of production planning, quality control, and inventory management.
- Strong leadership, team management, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Basic computer knowledge, including MS Excel and Word.
- Knowledge of railway signalling products, railway electronics, or relevant industry standards will be an advantage.

Preferred Candidate Profile Candidates with experience in railway electronics, signalling equipment, control panels, PCB assembly, electrical systems, or similar electronics manufacturing industries will be preferred.

Pay: From ₹30,000.00 per month
