Role Description The Plant Manager FMCG role is a full-time, on-site position based in Pune City. This role oversees end-to-end plant operations, ensuring safe, productive, and compliant manufacturing of sweet corn and frozen food products. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing production planning, monitoring manufacturing processes, optimizing resource utilization, and coordinating with procurement, quality, maintenance, and logistics teams.

The Plant

Manager ensures adherence to food safety standards and certifications, drives continuous improvement initiatives,



and implements best practices in operational efficiency and cost control. The role also involves leading and developing plant personnel, ensuring training and performance management, and maintaining strong alignment with corporate goals and customer requirements.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Plant Management skills, including leadership of multidisciplinary teams and oversight of overall plant performance.
- Candidates should possess expertise in Plant Operations and Manufacturing Operations, ensuring smooth daily processing of FMCG and frozen food products.
- Candidates should possess capabilities in Operations Management, focusing on productivity, cost optimization, safety, and compliance with quality standards.
- Candidates should possess experience in Production Planning, including capacity planning, scheduling, and coordination with supply chain and sales.
- Relevant qualifications such as a degree in Engineering, Food Technology, Production, or Operations Management.
- Proven experience in FMCG or food processing plants, preferably with exposure to cold chain and frozen food operations.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and standards (e.g., HACCP, ISO, BRC) and strong focus on hygiene and quality assurance.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience in continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, or similar methodologies is beneficial
