Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Planning Engineer to join our PMC team for real estate projects in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for project planning, scheduling, monitoring, and reporting to ensure timely execution while maintaining quality and budget standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project.
- Develop baseline schedules, work breakdown structures (WBS), and project execution plans.
- Monitor project progress against the approved schedule and identify potential delays.
- Conduct critical path analysis and recommend mitigation and recovery plans.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports and dashboards.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal project teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Track project milestones, resource utilization, and productivity.
- Review contractor schedules and validate progress against actual site execution.
- Support project management in forecasting timelines and identifying project risks.
- Participate in project review meetings and present schedule updates to stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with contractual timelines and reporting requirements.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of project planning and scheduling methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and project reporting tools.
- Excellent analytical, coordination, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work in a quick-paced project environment.
- Strong understanding of commercial construction activities and project lifecycle.
Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Certification in Primavera P6 will be an added advantage.
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Planning Engineer.
- Mandatory experience working with a Project Management Consultancy (PMC).
- Experience in real estate construction projects is essential.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Strong understanding of project planning, scheduling, and project controls.
- Ability to prepare management reports and presentations.
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Ready to work from the project site in Mumbai.
Pay: ₹480,000.00 - ₹750,000.00 per year
