Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive and result-oriented Placement Coordinator to manage placement activities under the Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana (DDU-GKY) project. The candidate will be responsible for employer engagement, job placement, field-level coordination, document collection, and post-placement tracking of trained candidates.

Key Responsibilities

- Build and maintain relationships with employers, industries, and recruitment partners to generate employment opportunities.
- Identify job vacancies through regular employer visits, field visits, and local market surveys for trained candidates.
- Organize placement drives, coordinate interviews, and facilitate the recruitment process.
- Conduct field visits to collect, verify, and update student documents required for placement and project compliance.
- Coordinate with trained candidates to assess their job preferences, availability, and readiness for employment.
- Mobilize and counsel candidates for suitable job opportunities and interviews.
- Maintain employer databases, candidate records, placement details, and required MIS reports.




- Coordinate with training centres, candidates, and employers to ensure smooth placement operations.
- Conduct post-placement follow-ups to monitor candidate joining, employment status, and retention.
- Ensure timely documentation and compliance with project guidelines and placement targets.
- Travel to nearby locations, villages, and employer sites as required for placement activities and candidate documentation.

Eligibility Criteria

- Graduate in any discipline; relevant experience preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience in placement, recruitment, HR, or skill development projects is preferred.
- Strong communication, coordination, networking, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, and report preparation.
- Willingness to undertake regular field visits for vacancy identification, employer coordination, and student document collection.
