Upraisal is looking for a skilled Payroll Specialist for an exciting opportunity with one of our clients in Mumbai.

Position: Payroll Specialist

Location: Mumbai

Experience: 3–6 Years

Department: HR / Finance

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage end-to-end monthly payroll processing, including salaries, incentives, arrears, reimbursements and full-and-final settlements.
- Ensure statutory compliance with PF, ESI, Skilled Tax, TDS, Labour Welfare Fund and other applicable regulations.
- Handle payroll reconciliations, statutory filings, challans and payroll accounting.
- Prepare payroll MIS, employee cost reports and headcount analysis.
- Coordinate with HR, Accounts and Finance for payroll inputs and monthly closures.




- Resolve employee payroll queries and maintain accurate payroll records.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance or a related field.
- 3–6 years of hands-on experience in end-to-end payroll processing.
- Strong knowledge of Indian payroll regulations and statutory compliance.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and payroll software / ERP systems.
- Excellent analytical, reconciliation and communication skills.
