Our office in Kelambakkam is our base for corporate as well as design, library, archives and merchandising. Our NYC design studio allows us to deliver innovative designs to our clients. Our Current York office (OMTC) supplements research and design activity.

Role Purpose The trainee learns grading, marker making and file handling in Gerber AccuMark on live orders, under close guidance, and is expected to be ready for the CAD Operator role after training and further experience.

Key Responsibilities

1. Learn Gerber AccuMark following the 3-month training plan.
2. Plot patterns, markers and mini markers as instructed.
3.



Digitize hard patterns into Gerber under supervision.
4. Help the CAD Operator with simple grading and marker tasks and have all work checked before release.
5. Keep pattern and marker files named and filed correctly; help with daily backups.
6. Support the Pattern Makers: prepare hard patterns, cut and label paper patterns, and record measurements.
7. Attend fit sessions when asked, to learn how fit comments become pattern changes.
8. Keep a training log of tasks done and skills learned and review it weekly with the CAD Operator.

Candidate Profile

1. Diploma, degree or certificate in Apparel / Garment / Fashion Technology, Pattern Making or Garment CAD (fresh graduates welcome).
2. Some exposure to Gerber AccuMark or another garment CAD system, through coursework or an internship.
3. Internship or up to 1 year of experience in a garment factory or sampling room.
4. Manual pattern drafting basics.
5. Tamil and basic English.
6. Basic computer skills.
7. Basic understanding of garment parts and construction.

Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹250,000.00 per year
