BellaVita is a fast-growing beauty, fragrance, and personal care brand focused on delivering premium-quality products at accessible prices. As we expand into the bath and body category, we are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Packaging Designer to develop distinctive, innovative, and visually appealing packaging for our upcoming product range.

Role Overview The Packaging Designer will be responsible for conceptualising and developing packaging for bath and body products, including body washes, body lotions, body scrubs, body butters, shower gels, body mists, and other personal care products. The ideal candidate should have experience in packaging design for beauty, skincare, cosmetics, or personal care, with a strong understanding of materials, finishes, product formats, and manufacturing feasibility.

Key Responsibilities

- Packaging Conceptualisation: Develop creative packaging concepts aligned with BellaVita's brand identity, target audience, and product positioning.
- Bath & Body Packaging: Design packaging for bottles, tubes, jars, pumps, dispensers, labels, cartons, and other relevant product formats.
- Visual Design: Work on colour palettes, typography, graphics, label layouts, and packaging aesthetics to create distinctive shelf appeal.
- Material & Finish Selection: Explore suitable packaging materials, textures, coatings, finishes, and decoration techniques for bath and body products.
- Artwork Development: Prepare print-ready artwork, dielines, layouts, and technical specifications for packaging production.
- Product Development Collaboration: Work closely with the NPD, Brand, Marketing, and Procurement teams to develop packaging from concept to final execution.




- Vendor Coordination: Coordinate with packaging manufacturers and suppliers to develop samples, review prototypes, and ensure production feasibility.
- Quality & Feasibility Checks: Ensure packaging designs meet quality standards, usability requirements, product compatibility, and cost considerations.
- Market & Trend Research: Research emerging bath and body packaging trends, competitor launches, consumer preferences, and cutting-edge packaging formats.
- Project Management: Manage multiple packaging development projects while ensuring timely execution and launch readiness.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Packaging Design, Product Design, Graphic Design, Applied Arts, or a related field.
- Relevant experience in packaging design, preferably in bath and body, skincare, cosmetics, beauty, or personal care.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and relevant design tools.
- Understanding of packaging materials, printing techniques, labelling, dielines, and production processes.
- Strong creative visualisation, colour theory, typography, and design skills.
- Ability to balance aesthetics, functionality, durability, cost, and manufacturing feasibility.
- Strong coordination skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Candidate Profile
- Prior experience designing packaging for body washes, lotions, scrubs, body butters, shower gels, body mists, or similar products.
- A portfolio showcasing packaging design projects in the beauty and personal care category.
- Familiarity with bottles, tubes, jars, pumps, caps, dispensing systems, and secondary packaging.
- Experience working with D2C beauty, skincare, or personal care brands will be an added advantage.
- Ability to translate consumer and market insights into commercially viable packaging concepts.
