Role Description The Owner at Muskurahat Foundation will provide overall leadership, strategic direction, and governance for the organization in a full-time, on-site role based in Patiala.

Responsibilities include defining long-term vision, setting organizational goals, and overseeing program design and execution to ensure meaningful outcomes for children at-risk. The role involves managing key partnerships, fundraising activities, stakeholder communications, and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. The Owner will guide budgeting and resource allocation, supervise senior staff, and foster a culture of inclusion, transparency, and collaboration.

Regular tasks also include reviewing program performance,



representing the foundation at events and meetings, and identifying new opportunities to expand impact in line with Muskurahat’s mission.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated leadership experience in nonprofit management, social enterprises, or related sectors, with the ability to set strategy and drive execution.
- Experience in program development and evaluation, particularly in child welfare, education, or community development settings.
- Strong skills in fundraising, grant writing, and donor or partner relationship management.
- Proficiency in financial planning, budgeting, and organizational governance.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills, including the ability to represent the organization publicly.
- Ability to build, guide, and mentor diverse teams, fostering an inclusive and respectful work environment.
- Understanding of child protection principles, safeguarding practices, and relevant legal and regulatory frameworks is highly beneficial.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Work, Management, Education, Public Administration, or related field is preferred.
- Commitment to Muskurahat Foundation’s mission and values, with a solid passion for working with children at-risk.
- Willingness to work on-site in Patiala and travel as needed for program and partnership activities.
