Hyderabad Smiles Advanced Dental Hospitals is looking for a skilled and dedicated Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon (OMFS) to join our dental team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate should have expertise in diagnosing and treating oral and maxillofacial conditions, performing minor oral surgical procedures, and managing complex dental cases. The candidate should be committed to providing high-quality patient care, maintaining clinical standards, and ensuring patient comfort and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and manage oral and maxillofacial conditions.
- Perform tooth extractions, including impacted and surgical extractions.
- Manage minor oral surgical procedures and related complications.
- Evaluate patients for dental implants and perform implant-related surgical procedures within their competence.
- Manage oral infections, cysts, and other surgical conditions as appropriate.
- Assess facial trauma and refer or manage cases according to clinical requirements.
- Maintain accurate patient records, treatment plans, and informed consent documentation.
- Follow infection control, sterilisation, and patient safety protocols.
- Explain treatment options, risks, advantages, and post-operative care to patients.
- Coordinate with other dental specialists to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Qualifications
- MDS in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from a recognised institution.
- Valid registration with the appropriate State Dental Council.
- Strong clinical knowledge and surgical skills.
- Good communication and patient-management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary dental team.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in oral surgery and management of surgical complications.
- Knowledge of dental implant surgery and pre-surgical assessment.
- Solid diagnostic and decision-making abilities.
