Oracle Integration & Validated Integration Certification Consultant

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Oracle HCM Cloud Integration Consultant / Expert with strong hands-on experience in Oracle Recruiting Cloud (ORC), Oracle HCM Journeys and Oracle HCM integrations, and additional experience supporting Oracle Validated Integration and Partner Integration Framework (PIF) certification.

The consultant will support Oracle integration initiatives by providing technical and functional guidance, evaluating integration feasibility, recommending solution architectures, and supporting implementation teams. The role also requires specialized knowledge of Oracle's validated integration and certification process, including certification requirements, documentation, submissions, Oracle reviews, and related activities.

The ideal candidate should therefore have both robust Oracle HCM integration expertise and practical Oracle certification experience.

Key Responsibilities

Oracle Integration

- Provide technical and functional guidance on Oracle HCM integrations across different client projects.
- Review customer integration requirements, including ORC and Journeys requirements, and run a feasibility check that classifies each as native, configuration, extension, or not feasible.
- Recommend appropriate Oracle integration approaches and patterns and work with Harbinger/Customer teams to define integration architecture, data flows, APIs, security, and field mappings.
- Provide guidance on Oracle integration technologies and capabilities, including Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), REST APIs, business events and webhooks, HCM Data Loader (HDL), HCM Extracts, ORC and Journeys task and status updates, and other relevant Oracle mechanisms.
- Advise on SSO design for Oracle Cloud.
- Review integration designs and identify technical or implementation gaps, including API rate limits and API versioning.




- Support troubleshooting and resolution of Oracle integration-related issues.
- Advise Harbinger/Customer teams on Oracle-specific considerations, limitations, and best practices.
- Support integration projects from requirements and design through implementation, testing, and deployment.
- Run discovery workshops and Q&A; with the customer's Oracle HCM, IT and security teams, and deliver a requirement-by-requirement feasibility matrix and architecture recommendation.
- Help Harbinger/Customer teams in setting up required integration workflows in the Oracle Recruiting Cloud (ORC) and Oracle HCM Journeys.

Oracle Validated Integration / Certification
- Provide specialized guidance on the Oracle Validated Integration and Partner Integration Framework (PIF) certification process.
- Review the proposed integration and implementation approach from an Oracle certification perspective.
- Guide Harbinger/Customer teams on Oracle certification requirements, as applicable.
- Review and help prepare certification-related documentation, use cases, architecture documents, data mappings, security information, and other required artifacts.
- Support preparation and submission of Oracle certification materials.
- Review feedback received from Oracle and guide the team on required responses or changes.
- Identify potential certification gaps and provide recommendations to address them.
- Support discussions with Oracle and partner contacts related to certification when required.




- Help the team navigate the certification process through the required Oracle milestone.

Required Experience
- Strong hands-on experience as an Oracle HCM Cloud Integration Consultant / Architect / Technical Consultant, with 8+ years in Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM.
- Strong understanding of Oracle HCM integration architecture, integration patterns, APIs, security, data mapping, and business processes.
- Experience working on multiple Oracle HCM integration projects, with hands-on experience with Oracle Validated Integration / PIF certification.
- Prior involvement in at least one Oracle integration that went through the Oracle Validated Integration certification process.
- Practical experience preparing or reviewing Oracle certification and submission artifacts.
- Experience working with Oracle and third-party systems and integrations, such as background check or screening vendors.
- Ability to work closely with solution architects, developers, QA, business analysts, and delivery managers.
- Strong communication, analytical, and documentation skills.
- Experience with Oracle Recruiting Cloud, Oracle HCM Journeys, and core HCM, including candidate, requisition, phase and state configuration, and I-9 and onboarding flows.
- Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), REST APIs, business events, HDL, HCM Extracts, and other Oracle integration technologies.
- Experience with Oracle security and identity: SSO and federation, OAuth 2.0, and role and data security.
- Experience with complex third-party integrations and bidirectional data flows.
- Experience reviewing Oracle integration designs for certification readiness, and familiarity with Oracle's quarterly release cycle and regression testing.
