Role Description The Operations Manager role is a full time, on-site position based in Bengaluru. This role oversees daily manufacturing operations, including production planning, workflow optimization, and coordination between procurement, production, and dispatch teams.

The Operations

Manager monitors quality standards for paper bowls and lids, ensures adherence to specifications, and implements process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste.

Responsibilities include managing vendor relationships, tracking inventory, maintaining equipment schedules, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.



The role also involves leading and developing the operations team, reporting key performance metrics to leadership, and supporting scalable growth as customer demand expands.

Qualifications

- Strong operations and customer management skills, including production planning, process optimization, and workflow coordination.
- Experience with manufacturing environments, preferably in packaging, paper products, or FMCG supply chains.
- Proficiency in quality control practices, specification adherence (e.g., GSM, coating weight, dimensions), and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Solid inventory management and logistics skills, with the ability to manage vendors, raw material planning, and dispatch scheduling.
- Demonstrated people management capabilities, including team leadership, performance tracking, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Comfort with data-driven decision-making, basic reporting tools, and operational KPI monitoring.
- Working knowledge of health, safety, and compliance standards in manufacturing settings.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, or a related field; relevant operational experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
- Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru and adapt to a fast-paced startup environment. (Varthur, Sarjapur, Whitefield residents preferred.
