Role Description The Operations Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai. This position is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, including planning and coordinating workflows, optimizing processes, and ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards.

The Operations

Manager will monitor project timelines, resource utilization, and performance metrics, and work closely with cross-functional teams to resolve operational issues and improve efficiency. The role includes supervising staff, managing vendor and client relationships, supporting budgeting and cost control, and preparing regular reports for leadership on operational performance and risks.

Manager will also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and help implement best practices across projects.

Qualifications

- Operational management and process optimization skills, including experience in workflow planning, resource allocation, and performance monitoring.
- Strong leadership and people management abilities, with experience in team supervision, coaching, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Project coordination and organizational skills, including managing timelines, deliverables, and multiple priorities in a quick-paced environment.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify risks, and implement effective corrective actions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills for working with internal teams, clients, and vendors.
- Understanding of quality, safety, and compliance standards; familiarity with marine, green industry, aerospace, or defense domains is an advantage.
- Proficiency with common business and operations tools (e.g., MS Office, project management software, ERP or similar systems).
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, operations management, or a related field; relevant professional certifications are a plus.
- Ability to work on-site in Mumbai, with a proactive, detail-oriented, and continuous improvement mindset.
