Role Description The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing day-to-day logistics and transportation activities to ensure efficient, timely, and cost-effective movement of freight. This full-time, in office role is based in Navi Mumbai and involves planning and coordinating road transport operations, managing warehouse workflows, and optimizing end-to-end supply chain processes. The role includes monitoring fleet utilization, tracking shipments, resolving operational issues, and maintaining high standards of safety and compliance.

The Operations

Manager collaborates with internal teams, drivers, vendors, and customers to manage schedules, improve service quality, and support continuous process improvements.



The position also requires preparing operational reports, managing resources, and supporting strategic initiatives that enhance productivity and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

- Strong operations and logistics management skills, including experience in road transportation, fleet coordination, and freight scheduling.
- Knowledge of warehousing practices, inventory control, and supply chain management processes.
- Proficiency in using transportation and logistics software, spreadsheets, and basic data analysis tools.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills for working with customers, vendors, and internal teams.
- Proven ability to lead teams, delegate tasks, and manage performance in a fast-paced operational environment.
- Solid problem-solving, decision-making, and crisis management capabilities, especially in time-sensitive situations.
- Understanding of safety standards, regulatory requirements, and compliance related to road transport and warehousing.
- Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, business administration, or a related field; relevant professional certifications are an advantage.
- Prior experience in logistics, transport operations, or freight management, preferably within the Indian market.
- Ability to work on-site in Navi Mumbai, with flexibility to handle operational demands and extended hours when needed.
