About Scientia
Scientia is looking for a knowledgeable Online Physics Tutor who can make scientific concepts accessible, engaging and relevant to students in Grades 8–12.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver live online Physics lessons for Grades 8–12.
- Teach relevant topics in accordance with the CBSE and ICSE syllabuses.
- Explain scientific principles, numerical problems, diagrams and applications.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets and examination practice materials.
- Support students with homework, conceptual doubts and revision.
- Monitor student performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain a structured, interactive and supportive online classroom.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Physics or a related discipline preferred.
- 1–3 years of Physics teaching or tutoring experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of theoretical concepts and numerical problem-solving.
- Good English communication and presentation skills.
- Familiarity with Google Meet and Google Classroom.
- Reliable internet, a computer and a suitable teaching environment.
Employment Details
- Remote teaching for students in India.
- Part time and full-time opportunities, subject to availability.
- Hourly compensation based on experience, grade level and teaching allocation.
