About Scientia
Scientia is seeking a passionate and competent Online Mathematics Tutor to help students in Grades 8–12 develop strong mathematical foundations, problem-solving abilities and examination confidence.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct live online Mathematics classes for Grades 8–12.
- Teach topics according to the CBSE and ICSE syllabuses and the student's grade.
- Explain concepts, formulas and problem-solving methods clearly.
- Prepare lesson plans, practice questions and revision materials.
- Conduct doubt-clearing sessions and support examination preparation.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain attendance, punctuality and professional communication with students and parents where required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Mathematics or a related discipline preferred.
- 1–3 years of Mathematics teaching or tutoring experience preferred.
- Strong subject knowledge and the ability to explain complex concepts simply.
- Good English communication and online teaching skills.
- Familiarity with Google Meet and Google Classroom.
- Reliable internet, a computer and a suitable teaching environment.
Employment Details
- Online teaching from within India.
- Part-time and full time opportunities, subject to availability.
- Hourly compensation based on experience, grade level and teaching allocation.
