Role: Senior .NET Application Developer

Location: Chennai, India (Hybrid 3days/week)

Job Summary The Senior Application Developer provides advanced software development services and technical leadership for enterprise applications supporting business-critical capabilities. This role is responsible for designing, developing, enhancing, and maintaining modern applications while ensuring alignment with organizational architecture, DevOps practices, and security standards.

Under general direction, the Senior Application Developer applies specialized technical knowledge to solve complex problems, makes key design decisions, and contributes to the successful delivery of high-quality, scalable solutions. The role works closely with cross-functional teams and may provide technical guidance to less experienced developers.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise applications using modern development frameworks and tools
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions
- Develop program logic for new applications and enhance and maintain existing systems
- Code, test, debug, implement, and document software solutions across the application lifecycle
- Contribute to system architecture, design patterns, and integration strategies
- Lead or participate in design reviews, code reviews, and technical decision-making
- Support DevOps practices including source control, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployments
- Configure and manage code repositories, builds, and release pipelines in Azure DevOps
- Collaborate with product owners, business stakeholders, QA teams,



and infrastructure teams
- Provide technical support for production systems, including troubleshooting and root cause analysis
- Maintain system performance, reliability, and availability
- Develop and maintain technical documentation including architecture diagrams and specifications
- Ensure adherence to coding standards, security requirements, and software development best practices
- Support Agile development processes and actively participate in sprint ceremonies
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior developers and team members

Required Education, Experience, & Skill

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline, or equivalent work experience
- Typically requires 8+ years of experience in software development or application engineering
- Strong experience in C#, .NET Framework, and up-to-date .NET (6/8) development
- Experience with ASP.NET, MVC, and RESTful API development
- Hands-on experience developing enterprise applications using Blazor
- Experience with source control tools such as Git and Azure DevOps
- Experience configuring CI/CD pipelines and release management processes
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (preferably Microsoft Azure) and infrastructure-as-code tools such as ARM or Terraform
- Experience working in Agile development environments
- Robust debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Experience with automated testing frameworks (NUnit, xUnit) preferred
- Demonstrated ability to work in a matrixed, global team environment with strong stakeholder engagement skills
