About the RoleYou will own the administration, security, and day-to-day reliability of our Microsoft 365 environment. We’re looking for an experienced administrator who can independently manage user access, email, collaboration tools, and security policies, troubleshoot complex issues, and maintain clear documentation.

Responsibilities

- Administer Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive.
- Manage user onboarding and offboarding, licences, groups, shared mailboxes, and permissions.
- Manage Microsoft Entra ID, including administrator roles, multifactor authentication, Conditional Access, and external user access.
- Configure and maintain email security, mail flow, distribution lists, and domain authentication.
- Manage SharePoint and OneDrive access, external sharing, and collaboration settings.
- Configure device compliance and access policies through Microsoft Intune, where applicable.
- Monitor service health, investigate sign-in and security alerts, and resolve Microsoft 365 incidents.
- Maintain retention, recovery, and data protection settings appropriate to business requirements.
- Use PowerShell to automate recurring administration and reporting tasks.
- Review licence usage, document configurations and changes, and coordinate escalations with Microsoft support.





Requirements
- Substantial hands-on experience independently administering a live Microsoft 365 environment.
- Strong working knowledge of Exchange Online, Microsoft Entra ID, Teams, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive.
- Practical experience with multifactor authentication, Conditional Access, role-based permissions, and secure onboarding and offboarding.
- Ability to troubleshoot email delivery, sign-in, permissions, synchronisation, and collaboration issues.
- Experience using PowerShell for Microsoft 365 administration.
- Sound judgment when making changes that affect security, access, or business continuity.
- Robust documentation, communication, and follow-through.

Nice to Haves
- Experience with Microsoft Intune and Windows Autopilot.
- Experience with Microsoft Defender for Office 365 and Microsoft Purview.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 migrations, tenant consolidation, or security reviews.
- Experience automating administration through Microsoft Graph.

Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience owning Microsoft 365 administration and resolving production issues independently.
- Relevant Microsoft certifications are preferred.
- A degree or diploma in IT, Computer Science, or a related field is helpful but not mandatory.

Salary

₹1,80,000 – ₹3,00,000 per annum
