About PREWAL Studio
PREWAL Studio Private Limited is a garment manufacturing and export company based in Gurugram, India.
As part of our ongoing efforts to strengthen operational efficiency, transparency, and data-driven decision-making, we are implementing a Manufacturing Execution System (MES) across our organisation.
We are looking for a smart, technically capable, and proactive individual to help us successfully implement, manage, and optimise this system.
About the Role
We are hiring an MES Executive – Implementation & Operations who will be responsible for coordinating the implementation, daily management, monitoring, and effective utilisation of our Manufacturing Execution System across different departments.
The selected candidate will work closely with the Founder's Office, department heads, production teams, and external technology partners to ensure the system functions smoothly and is effectively adopted across the organisation.
This is a hands-on role combining technology, manufacturing operations, data analysis, troubleshooting, and cross-departmental coordination .
We are not looking for someone who merely enters data into software. We are looking for someone who takes ownership, understands how systems work, identifies problems, and ensures that technology is being used effectively.
Key Responsibilities:-
1. MES Implementation & System Management
- Coordinate the implementation and rollout of the company's Manufacturing Execution System.
- Work closely with external technology partners to support system configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and deployment.
- Understand existing manufacturing workflows and help integrate them into the MES.
- Assist in maintaining system master data, user accounts, access permissions, and configuration settings.
- Act as the primary internal point of contact for MES-related coordination and operational issues.
2. Daily System Operations & Monitoring
- Oversee the day-to-day functioning of the MES across relevant departments.
- Monitor whether employees are correctly and consistently using the system.
- Identify missing entries, incorrect data, process gaps, and operational discrepancies.
- Coordinate with department heads to ensure timely updates and accurate information.
- Verify that system records are aligned with actual manufacturing operations.
3. Technical Support & Troubleshooting
- Provide first-level technical support to employees using the MES.
- Troubleshoot basic software, login, connectivity, and system-related issues.
- Identify recurring technical problems and coordinate with external support teams for resolution.
- Maintain records of system issues, their status, and corrective actions.
- Follow up proactively to ensure that reported issues are resolved.
4. Data Management, Analysis & Reporting
- Monitor system dashboards, production data, and operational reports.
- Analyse information to identify discrepancies, delays, and potential operational bottlenecks.
- Prepare regular MIS reports and operational summaries for management.
- Use Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets for data verification, reconciliation, and analysis.
- Highlight critical issues and provide actionable insights to improve operational efficiency.
5. Training & Cross-Departmental Coordination
- Assist in training employees on the correct usage of the MES.
- Coordinate with teams across production, cutting, sewing, finishing, quality, stores, merchandising, and other relevant departments.
- Ensure employees understand their respective responsibilities within the system.
- Support the adoption of standardised digital workflows.
- Work with department heads to resolve issues affecting system usage and data accuracy.
6. Process Improvement & System Optimisation
- Identify opportunities to improve system utilisation and operational workflows.
- Suggest improvements in data collection, reporting, and process efficiency.
- Help develop simple guidelines and documentation for employees.
- Monitor system adoption and recommend corrective actions wherever necessary.
- Support the company's broader digital transformation initiatives.
Required Qualifications & Skills :-
- 0–2 years of professional experience. Smart fresh graduates with strong technical aptitude are encouraged to apply.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Applications, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, Operations, or a related field. Candidates with equivalent practical skills will also be considered.
- Strong computer proficiency and ability to quickly understand unfamiliar software applications.
- Positive working knowledge of Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets,
including formulas, filters, lookups, and basic data analysis.
- Strong logical reasoning, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot basic software-related issues independently.
- Good communication, coordination, and follow-up skills.
- Strong attention to detail, organisational ability, and sense of ownership.
- Willingness to work in a manufacturing environment and coordinate regularly with factory-floor employees.
Preferred Qualifications :- The following will be considered significant advantages but are not mandatory :
- Previous experience or internship exposure in garment manufacturing, apparel exports, textiles, or factory operations.
- Familiarity with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), or other business management software.
- Basic understanding of garment manufacturing processes, production tracking, inventory, and quality management.
- Experience in software implementation, technical support, or system administration.
- Experience preparing MIS reports, dashboards, or analysing operational data.
- Knowledge of advanced Excel, PivotTables, Power BI, SQL, or similar tools.
- Previous experience coordinating with software vendors or training employees on digital systems.
What We Offer :
- Company-wide exposure: Work on a technology initiative involving multiple business functions.
- Direct management interaction: Work closely with the Founder's Office and departmental leadership.
- Hands-on learning: Gain practical exposure to manufacturing operations, business systems, and process digitisation.
- Meaningful responsibility: Help manage a technology platform critical to the company's daily operations.
- Professional growth: Build valuable experience in manufacturing technology, operational analytics, and digital transformation.
Who Should Apply? We are particularly interested in candidates who:
- Are naturally curious about technology and enjoy understanding how software works.
- Can learn current systems quickly and independently.
- Enjoy solving technical and operational problems.
- Are comfortable working with both computers and people.
- Are organised, proactive, and detail-oriented.
