Role overview A transcription and editing role on our Litigation Support line, open to medical and legal scribes. You listen to recordings from attorneys, court reporters, depositions, hearings, client interviews and witness statements, and convert them into clear, structured, professionally formatted written records - then edit and proof them against medical and legal terminology, citations and case details before submission. Accuracy and confidentiality are the whole job.

- Audio-to-Text Transcription
- Listen to audio recordings from attorneys, court reporters, legal professionals, depositions, hearings, client interviews, witness statements, and legal proceedings.
- Accurately convert spoken content into clear, structured, and professionally formatted written documents.
- Ensure transcripts are complete, accurate, and free from omissions or misinterpretations.

- Proofreading & Quality Assurance

- Review completed transcripts for grammatical errors, punctuation, spelling, formatting, and consistency.
- Verify names, dates, legal citations, terminology, and case-related information before submission.
- Ensure documents meet internal quality standards and client expectations.

- Legal Terminology & Research

- Demonstrate a strong understanding of legal terminology, court procedures, litigation processes, and legal documentation.
- Research unfamiliar legal terms, statutes, abbreviations, or references to maintain transcription accuracy.

- Confidentiality & Data Security

- Handle sensitive legal information with the highest level of confidentiality.
- Comply with company policies,



client confidentiality agreements, and applicable data privacy regulations.

- Compliance with Quality Standards

- Adhere to company SOPs, client guidelines, legal documentation standards, and quality benchmarks.
- Maintain high accuracy, consistency, and compliance with internal quality metrics.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Medical Scribe or Legal Scribe in the US Healthcare domain.
- Strong knowledge of medical and legal terminology.
- Excellent typing speed with exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Comfortable working in the US Night Shift.
