Role: Area Sales Executive

Location: Pune

Responsibilities:

- Drive sales and expand the market presence of Focuz Medical's products across Pune and assigned territories in the western market.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with doctors, gastroenterologists, urologists, surgeons, endoscopy centres, hospitals and relevant healthcare professionals.
- Identify, appoint and develop distributors, dealers and channel partners to strengthen market coverage and product availability.
- Generate new business opportunities through market visits, account development, referrals and engagement with healthcare institutions.
- Conduct product presentations and demonstrations for healthcare professionals, communicating product features, applications and perks effectively.
- Engage with hospital procurement teams and other key stakeholders to developinstitutional business and convert sales opportunities.
- Establish long-term relationships with distributors and channel partners, monitor their performance, and support business development within their respective markets.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets and contribute to sustainable revenue growth in the assigned territory.
- Monitor competitor activities, pricing, market developments and customer feedback to identify opportunities for business expansion.
- Coordinate with internal teams on order processing, product availability, dispatches, customer requirements and after-sales support.
- Follow up on outstanding payments and support effective distributor account management.
- Maintain regular reports on field visits, sales performance, business opportunities, pipeline progress and market feedback.
- Participate in medical conferences, exhibitions, workshops and product awareness programmes as required.

Requirements





- Degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Life Sciences or a related discipline is preferred.
- Candidates from Commerce, Business or other academic backgrounds may also be considered if they have substantial experience as Medical Representatives, particularly
- in pharmaceutical or healthcare sales.
- Prior experience in sales involving territory ownership, preferably as a Medical Representative or in pharmaceutical, healthcare products, medical devices, surgical products, diagnostics or hospital consumables.
- Experience in medical device sales is an advantage but is not mandatory.
- Familiarity with doctor engagement, territory development, distributor relationships and achieving sales targets.
- Strong communication, presentation, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- A proactive, commercially oriented and target-driven approach, with the ability to develop new accounts and sustain customer relationships.
- Ability to manage an assigned territory independently, maintain sales reports and handle regular field travel.

Pay: From ₹35,000.00 per month
