We are hiring a motivated and enthusiastic Mechanical Design Engineer – Fresher for our engineering team in Poonamallee, Chennai. This is an excellent opportunity for fresh mechanical engineering graduates who want to build their careers in machine design, mechanical CAD design, 3D modelling, and industrial machinery design.

The selected candidate will work on mechanical components, machine assemblies, 2D engineering drawings, 3D modelling, and manufacturing drawings under the guidance of experienced engineers.

Candidates with knowledge of AutoCAD, SolidWorks and a strong interest in machine design are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare 2D mechanical engineering drawings and 3D CAD models.
- Assist in designing industrial machines, mechanical components, and machine assemblies.
- Create detailed manufacturing drawings, assembly drawings, and fabrication drawings.
- Use AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or other CAD software for mechanical design and drafting.
- Understand engineering drawings, dimensions, tolerances, and basic GD&T.;
- Assist senior engineers with machine design, product development, and design modifications.
- Learn about material selection, fasteners, bearings, shafts, gears, and other mechanical components.
- Coordinate with production, fabrication, and manufacturing teams.
- Follow engineering standards, design specifications, and quality requirements.
- Maintain mechanical design files and technical documentation.

Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of mechanical design and machine design principles.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD 2D drafting and/or SolidWorks 3D modelling.
- Understanding of engineering drawings and mechanical components.
- Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes, machining, and fabrication.




- Willingness to learn new design tools and engineering techniques.
- Good analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.

Eligibility Criteria
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
- Freshers and candidates with up to one year of relevant experience can apply.
- Academic projects or practical experience in CAD modelling and machine design are an advantage.
- Candidates must be willing to work at Poonamallee, Chennai.
