Role Description The Mechanical Design Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Pune City. In this position, the engineer will design and develop mechanical components and assemblies for special purpose machines and related products.

Daily responsibilities include creating and modifying CAD models and drawings, performing mechanical calculations, and ensuring designs meet performance, safety, and manufacturability requirements. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, supporting prototype development and testing, and incorporating feedback from clients and manufacturing to refine designs. The engineer will also help maintain design documentation,



adhere to project timelines, and contribute to continuous improvement of design standards and processes.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering, with applied knowledge of core mechanical principles and materials.
- Proficiency in Design Engineering and Machine Design, including mechanisms, assemblies, and special purpose machinery.
- Experience in Product Design, focusing on functionality, reliability, and ease of manufacturing.
- Advanced skills in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, Creo, or similar) for 3D modeling and detailed drawings.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Ability to interpret engineering standards, GD&T;, and technical specifications.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with attention to detail and quality.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities, with readiness to work on-site in Pune City and interact with clients and manufacturing teams.
- Prior experience in industrial machinery, automation, or manufacturing environments is an advantage.
