Role Description The Mastercam role is a full-time, on-site position based in the Pune Division. The individual in this role will create and optimize CNC programs using Mastercam for 3-axis and 5-axis machining, ensuring parts meet design specifications and tight tolerance requirements.

Daily responsibilities include interpreting engineering drawings and CAD models, selecting appropriate tooling and machining strategies, and verifying toolpaths through simulations before production. The role involves collaborating with machining operators and engineers to resolve manufacturing issues, improve cycle times,



and maintain consistent quality. The team member will also document programming processes, support continuous improvement initiatives, and adhere to safety and aerospace quality standards.

Qualifications

- Robust Mastercam proficiency for CNC programming, including 3-axis and 5-axis toolpath generation and optimization.
- Experience with CNC machining operations, cutting parameters, and tooling selection for metals and alloys.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T;, and CAD models for precision aerospace components.
- Knowledge of AS9100 or similar aerospace quality standards and adherence to shop safety practices.
- Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, tight-tolerance machining, and problem-solving on the shop floor.
- Relevant technical diploma or degree in Mechanical/Production Engineering or a related field.
- Prior experience in aerospace or high-precision manufacturing environments is highly desirable.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with engineers, quality teams, and machine operators.
