Role overview The Manager Purchase will run the purchase function for MVL Ltd's real estate projects: sourcing construction materials at the right quality, price and time, and keeping site teams supplied without delays or cost overruns. The role works closely with the projects, finance and accounts teams.

Key responsibilities

- Plan and execute procurement of construction materials (cement, steel, aggregates, tiles, plumbing, electrical, finishing items and similar) as per project schedules and budgets.

- Identify, evaluate and onboard vendors and suppliers; maintain an approved vendor list.

- Float enquiries, compare quotations, negotiate rates and terms, and finalise purchase orders and rate contracts.

- Coordinate with project, site and engineering teams to understand requirements, specifications and delivery timelines.

- Track deliveries, quality and quantities; resolve shortages, delays and rejections with suppliers.

- Control purchase costs through bulk buying, vendor development and market-rate benchmarking.

- Coordinate with accounts for bill verification,



payment schedules and vendor reconciliation.

- Maintain purchase records, price comparisons and MIS reports for management.

- Ensure purchases follow company policy, approvals and statutory requirements, including GST and TDS.

Requirements

Experience and education

- 5 to 8 years of experience in a purchase department, preferably in construction materials for real estate projects.

- Graduate in any stream; B.Tech / Diploma in Civil Engineering or MBA (Materials / Supply Chain) preferred.

Skills

- Robust knowledge of construction materials, market rates and supplier networks in Delhi NCR.

- Negotiation, vendor management and cost-control skills.

- Ability to read BOQs and material specifications.

- Working knowledge of MS Excel and purchase / ERP software (Tally or similar).

- Good communication in Hindi and English; ability to work to deadlines and coordinate across teams.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹75,000.00 per month
