Role Description The Manager – New Product Development will lead end-to-end development of new products, from concept generation to market launch, ensuring alignment with brand strategy and customer needs. This full-time, in office role based in Sonipat involves coordinating cross-functional teams in design, engineering, production, and marketing to drive timely and cost-effective product delivery. Day-to-day responsibilities include market and competitor analysis, defining product specifications, overseeing prototyping and testing, and managing design reviews and approvals.

The role also includes vendor and supplier collaboration for materials and components, monitoring quality standards,



and optimizing manufacturing processes for new products. The Manager will track project timelines, budgets, and performance metrics, while continuously identifying opportunities to improve the product portfolio and introduce innovative solutions for children’s bicycles and related products.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong product development and project management skills, including experience in end-to-end product lifecycle and cross-functional coordination.
- Candidates should possess design and engineering-related skills, such as understanding of mechanical design, materials, prototyping, and testing for consumer products or mobility solutions.
- Candidates should possess market and business analysis skills, including ability to conduct customer research, competitor benchmarking, and translate insights into product requirements.
- Candidates should possess quality and process improvement skills, with familiarity in manufacturing processes, quality assurance methodologies, and continuous improvement practices.
- Candidates should possess communication and collaboration skills, including clear documentation, presentation abilities, and stakeholder management across internal teams and external partners.
- Relevant qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in engineering, product design, industrial design, or a related field; a postgraduate degree in management or operations is an advantage.
- Prior experience in bicycle, toys, consumer goods, or automotive sectors, and familiarity with sustainable design or green manufacturing practices, will be beneficial.
