Job Purpose : Looking for a knowledgeable and experienced HSE/Safety Lead to oversee and implement Environment, Health & Safety (HSE) initiatives at our Saykha manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate must come from a chemical manufacturing background & possess in-depth understanding of environmental regulations, workplace safety, & regulatory compliance, especially in dealing with bodies such as GPCB, DISH (Factory Inspector), and other statutory agencies.

Job Profile:

- Lead the implementation of HSE management systems, policies, and procedures across the plant.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable environmental laws, GPCB guidelines, Factory Act, and other regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate inspections, audits, and liaison activities with GPCB, Factory Inspector, PESO, CPCB, and other statutory authorities.




- Conduct regular safety drills (Mock drills, Fire drills, etc.), risk assessments, and HAZOP/HAZAN studies.
- Monitor waste management practices, effluent treatment plant operations, and air/water quality standards.
- Drive behavioural safety programs and develop safety culture across the site.
- Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective/preventive actions.
- Lead ISO14001, OHSAS 18001/ISO 45001, and other HSE certifications and audits.
- Maintain HSE-related documentation, statutory records, and reports for regulatory and internal purposes.
- Train employees and contract workers on HSE policies, emergency response, and hazard identification.
- Ensure effective use of PPEs and monitor safety compliance at all levels.

Desired Profile:

- BE / B.Tech (Chemical) / B.Sc. / M.Sc.(Environmental Science, Chemistry) with 10 to 15 years experience in HSE experience in a chemical / process manufacturing setting.
- Strong understanding of environmental regulations, hazardous waste rules, safety standards, and industrial hygiene.
- Practical experience in dealing with GPCB, DISH, PESO, MOEF, and other government agencies.
- Knowledge of fire protection systems, emergency response procedures, and incident investigation methodologies.
- Proficient in HSE documentation, audit handling, and compliance reporting.
- Excellent leadership, coordination, and communication skills.
- Must be well-versed with MS Office, HSE software/tools, and reporting dashboards.

Preferred Attributes:

- Certification in Industrial Safety, NEBOSH, or similar credentials is a plus.
- Exposure to international safety standards, sustainability programs, or ESG reporting is desirable.
- Should be proactive, result-oriented, and capable of independently managing HSE functions at site.
