Responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment to ensure safe, uninterrupted, and efficient operations of the cinema premises.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspection and preventive maintenance of electrical systems, wiring, lighting, and electrical panels.
- Troubleshoot electrical faults and carry out repairs as required.
- Maintain and monitor DG sets, UPS, power backup systems, and related electrical equipment.
- Ensure proper functioning of cinema screens, projection-related electrical systems, HVAC electrical components, and other operational equipment.
- Monitor electricity consumption and identify opportunities to improve energy efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and company maintenance procedures.
- Maintain maintenance logs, breakdown reports, and records of repairs.
- Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for major electrical repairs.
- Respond promptly to electrical breakdowns and emergency maintenance requirements.
Qualifications and Experience
- ITI or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
- 25 years of experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in cinemas, hotels, malls, or commercial establishments.
- Practical knowledge of electrical wiring, panels, fault diagnosis, and preventive maintenance.
- Knowledge of electrical safety procedures and the use of maintenance tools.
